Revive On Oakview Boutique Accommodation and Spa

The host was so warm and welcoming, and breakfast was just right, with a fresh bagel, fruit and yogurt. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the pond and unwinding in the hot tubs to the sound of birds. My room at Revive on Oakview was cozy and comfortable, exactly what I wanted. An amazing stay, 10/10 for me, and I’ll definitely return.

The hosts were wonderful, breakfast was great, and the countryside views were idyllic. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the quiet gave us one of the best nights’ sleep we had while travelling in NZ. The resident dog was a friendly bonus. We found this place after flooding-related road closures disrupted our itinerary. It turned out to be the best compromise we could get, and a perfect stopover for travellers between Christchurch and either the Mt Cook or Dunedin region.

Nicky and Simon were so accommodating, even with our very late check-in. We spent two nights at 'Revive on Oakview' on our wedding night and the following night. The country setting was beautiful and calm, and the location was perfect. After a long day on our feet, the hot tub was exactly what we needed. We chose continental breakfasts and enjoyed homemade museli, seasonal fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and a croissant each morning. A perfect start to the day. Thank you for having us!

The quiet, restful feel made this such a good getaway. We loved waking up to birds and ducks, with a beautiful view in the morning. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and their dog Lotti was part of that welcome too. We enjoyed the whole stay.
