A clean, comfortable two-bedroom apartment with water views over the Viaduct from both rooms. The bed was excellent, the views gorgeous and the location extremely handy. It got a bit noisy through the night from the local bars, but that won’t stop us booking again. We appreciated the nice coffee too.

A lively spot right by the water. Probably the best place to stay in central Auckland.

We’ve just arrived from overseas, exhausted, and have been sitting outside for an hour with no idea whether anyone will get back to us. The phone number they provided goes unanswered, and there doesn’t seem to be anyone we can call. We’ve sent our photo ID twice, but still haven’t received the code we need to open the lockbox. We may have to find another hotel. A really disappointing start.

That view was nice, and the place itself was lovely. Bed squeaked a lot, though.
