14th Lane Urban Hotel

Vicki, Craig, and Janet gave us such a warm welcome, and you can tell they care about the hotel. We found 14th Lane Hotel a great base in Marlborough for our road trip. After long days out, the room was quiet, very comfortable, and spotless. We’d happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms were much nicer than the simple exterior suggests. Ours was spacious, with a comfortable bed, good amenities, a large bathroom, plenty of counter space, and a walk-in shower. It’s right in the middle of town, close to the shops and restaurants, with public parking next door that’s free on weekends. We only got one night because the other dates we wanted were sold out, but I’d stay again.

The hosts were especially warm and friendly, and the place was exceptionally clean and well run. 14thlane Hotel is a modern boutique hotel with just eight rooms, all offering the comforts of a luxury hotel. Its central spot in Blenheim made it a perfect choice. Thank you, it couldn’t have been better.

Vicki even sat down with us to go over a map of New Zealand and point out where our travels would take us. She and Craig made us feel at home, and our room was comfortable and spacious. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts. I’d highly recommend staying here.
