Deb was wonderful, and the place was spotless, with all the little details taken care of. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and breakfast is included. We also made good use of the hot tub with a bottle of sparkling wine we’d brought back from a vineyard. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Blenheim. Contact Deb directly for the best rates.

The room was fantastic, especially the private deck with its own spa pool. The bed suited me perfectly since I like a softer one than you usually get in a guest room or motel. The aircon worked great, the shower was spacious with a dome over it, and the separate kitchenette had plenty of shelves and breakfast supplies. I’ll stay again. Bravo Debbie and John. And that new funky fish shop is excellent. My meal was around $15 for two fillets, a small half scoop and a pot of garlic butter. They had aioli and tartare sauce too. Totally worth it. I can’t rate it highly enough, though maybe I shouldn’t or they’ll get overwhelmed! Haha.

We came back for our second stay, Thursday through Sunday, and loved it all over again. It’s a private little oasis, thoughtfully set up for a short visit, and the spa pool is just heaven. 10/10, wholehearted recommendation for Alfred's@115.

We’ll definitely be back. The room was lovely, with a big bathroom and a wee deck with a spa. It’s on a quiet street, but close to town, so the location’s great.

Even the rain let up long enough for us to enjoy the spa. Such a warm welcome and beautifully appointed accommodation. What a wonderful experience, sensational!
