The team at ASURE Phoenix Motor Inn made us feel at home, always friendly and ready to help. We had a lovely stay, and the price was great for what we got. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean, with a kitchenette, free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. The outdoor pool was a nice extra. It was also handy having supermarkets, cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. I'd definitely recommend Phoenix Motor Inn to friends and family visiting Blenheim or the Marlborough region.

The bed was fantastic, and after long work days I really needed those good sleeps. You can tell they spent money on the mattresses, they're nothing like the usual motel bricks. I was here for three weeks for work, and the place was clean, tidy and well maintained. Street side parking for our trucks was a big plus, and the small kitchen was very usable. The laundry was the one drawback. The old, secondhand Maytag washer cost $3, and the $4 dryer didn't dry much. If you have a Liquid Laundromat card, you can go across town and do it there, so it wasn't a major issue. I'd be glad to stay here again for next year's work.

After our ferry crossing, we arrived quite late to find the room already set up and warm. The staff were understanding and very helpful, and let me sort out payment the next day. 10/10.
