Charleston Holiday Park

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the cabin beds were comfortable. We found the campground clean and tidy, with well equipped facilities. It's a great base for exploring, close to Underworld Adventure, Charleston Pub, and the Kawatiri Coastal track. Highly recommend it, and great value too.

Lots to do from this convenient camping ground. We rode the Kawateri trail and went on the Nile River train, which was amazing through the bush and past 300foot sheer cliffs. There was also an amazing cafe in Charlston, plus tubbing and a glow worm tour. Awesome place to stay.

I've only been here a few hours and I'm already in love. The little cabin is beautiful and has plenty of bedding, and the guy was so nice and welcoming. The ladies bathrooms are lovely, with a hair dryer and everything. Fabulous kitchen with heaps of nice seating, plus showers and washing machines. I swam at spots just minutes from camp. Very impressed with the price and services, and I'll definitely be back!

The grounds were lovely, and we liked the little two-bedroom room. Staff were friendly and the cook house was clean. It's a lovely old-style motor camp, and I'd happily stay again. We also enjoyed visiting the little Charleston Goldmine just down the road.
