We had a large group, and everyone got extra service with a smile. The motel was fully serviced every day, and our room had flowers and a lovely smell when we walked in. It’s an amazing place to stay in Christchurch, with hosts you couldn’t ask to improve on.

The garden outside gave us a nice place to relax, and the rooms were spacious, with lovely high ceilings. They were cleaned regularly, the towels were fresh, and the room was usually warmed up nicely. The shower had great water pressure too. Amanda and Gary were incredibly generous and welcoming. I’ve never had this kind of welcome in the hotel industry. They went out of their way when we asked for help, and their local knowledge was great. They knew the area well and gave us honest advice about where to go. Amanda even brought us homemade brownies for tea, and they were fabulous. We, Jhu & Peter, highly recommend the owners and staff.

I always sleep like a baby in these warm, quiet, comfortable studios. The grounds are kept looking good, and the rooms are consistently prepared beyond what I expect. The welcome is always so warm and accommodating, with faultless attention to detail. I look forward to coming back every time.

We spent 10 nights here and were very well looked after by Gary and Amanda, who are excellent hosts. The unit was lovely and had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend this motel to anyone wanting a great New Zealand experience.

The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and nicely renovated, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The proprietors, Amanda and Gary, are a lovely couple, so friendly and generous. Don’t judge the place by its cover. I highly recommend them. Thanks Amanda and Gary :)
