It’s clean, affordable and nice, and I generally liked it. A few things could be better: the employees could be friendlier, and it would be useful to have tea and coffee in the rooms. The Wi-Fi limit should be removed or increased.

I’ve stayed here several times, and the facilities have always been clean and tidy. The TV lounge is very comfortable too. It’s a nice place to stay.

It’s very clean and tidy, but I didn’t enjoy staying here. The kitchen is barely usable: only the oven is available, while everything else, even the fridge, is locked. You also have to pay extra for things like the barbecue and Wi-Fi. For what it offers, it’s very expensive, and it didn’t feel like camping in New Zealand to me.

I’ve worked in hospitality and hope I was never as rude to anyone as the woman on the phone was to me. She was abrupt and clearly didn’t want our one-night booking, though she allowed it despite the stated two-night policy. When our plans changed, I asked to switch to a two-room unit for four adults, but she refused, saying it was already booked. That was seven and a half months ahead, which I found hard to believe. She made it very clear she didn’t want us there, so I cancelled the booking I’d made just two days earlier. I was promptly charged a $20 cancellation fee, even though they could surely fill the booking.
