Casa Nova House

Brenda is a wonderful host, warm and attentive, a fantastic chef, and full of local knowledge about things to do in Oamaru. Our beds, pillows, and divine sheets were just right, and we slept amazingly well. Each evening there was turndown service with sweet treats. We'd found Casa Nova online and read Brenda and Katrina's story, and knew we wanted to spend our final day and night in New Zealand there. We called to ask if we could arrive early and stay an extra night, and they welcomed us straightaway. Brenda greeted us when we drove up and even helped with our bags. We were the only guests, which was a rare treat, and felt completely at home. The details were lovely: gorgeous wallpaper, plenty of charging ports, a stunning bathroom and shower, a Nespresso machine, and beautiful views from the room. There was a TV, but we barely used it because we preferred the cosy sitting room. We absolutely loved Casa Nova. We're even half-seriously thinking about getting married there one day. It's a peaceful historic haven on beautiful grounds, with all the modern comforts you'd want, and we highly recommend it.

The bed was easily the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Our room was beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches throughout and a calm feel that helped us settle straight away. Brenda was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. We left rested and delighted with our stay at Casa Nova House in Oamaru, and can't wait to return.

Breakfast was delicious, and Brenda has done a top-notch job with every detail, right down to the carefully landscaped grounds. The old and new have been blended with real taste throughout this lovely boutique hotel. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and the showers have great pressure. Absolutely exquisite. Don't think twice, this is the best stay in the area!

Brenda was welcoming, friendly, and knew so much about the area. She and Katrina made sure all our needs and wants were taken care of. We loved Casa Nova House and highly recommend it. Our room had a luxurious bed and linens, plus plenty of outlets for charging electronics. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the gardens around the grounds were beautiful and peaceful. A true five-star experience.
