We were suddenly diverted to Christchurch in the middle of the night after the tornadoes stopped us landing in Auckland. Eight other flights were sent there too, and the airport was chaotic with every nearby place to stay booked out. Silver fern airport accommodation couldn't take us, but the woman there found a bed and breakfast that could fit my sister and me. Her husband David came to collect us, took us to Maccas for food, then brought us to their warm, clean B&B. The spa bath and shower were lovely, and we slept so well. David even drove us back to the airport at 7:30am. Absolute lifesavers, thank you!

Really friendly and helpful people, with comfortable, clean rooms. The kitchen, bathroom and living spaces were all great. Thanks, I'd recommend it.
