We stayed for two weeks and it suited our budget really well. It’s a tidy, basic place with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The beds were very comfortable and I slept great. Linda, especially, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s on busy Blenheim road, with The Warehouse right across the street, open until midnight every day. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The owners were lovely and accommodating, and our dog was very comfortable in the unit. It made a good place to wait out the rain before our road trip. The rooms are dated and could use a refresh, and cleanliness wasn’t the best, but we still had a pleasant stay.

The room was good for the price, with a classic Kiwi batch feel that’ll bring back memories for anyone who grew up in the 80s or 90s. The owners were very kind and accommodating about our late check-in. We missed them in the morning, but they came to say hello and thank us before we left. Nice place, would stay again :)

We needed a stopover before our 9am flight to Melbourne on Wednesday, 26 November, and stayed in room 3 from 20 to 26 November. The mother and daughter who own the place were very welcoming. It’s budget friendly, conveniently close to Riccarton Mall, and the basic needs are fully met. Cleanliness and upkeep of the room deserve praise. No bells and whistles, but that’s not what you’re paying for. Recommended for good value. SK Sim & Rebecca

The rooms are dated, but they were warm and comfortable. The family who own the place were the loveliest hosts I’ve experienced, so welcoming and making sure we were comfortable without rushing us. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in chch!
