We came to Coromandel for our daughter's second birthday, looking for a comfortable, relaxing place that was toddler-friendly and close to the main town attractions. Tasman Holiday Parks - Coromandel really suited us. We stayed in Standard Family Cabin Room 13, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. We'd never tried that before, and we loved it. The room was tidy and well kept, and the shared areas were clean. It was also nice meeting other families and people that way. Our little one loved the playground, giant blob, and basketball areas, and even just walking around the site was fun. She loved spending some time in the pool too. We were near the places we wanted to visit, and the staff were helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They even left gifts for our girl in the room, which was so kind and made us feel at home. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about sharing spaces, but everyone staying near us was lovely, respectful, and kind. It was a true Kiwi living experience that went hand in hand with the homely, welcoming atmosphere at Tasman Holiday Parks - Coromandel. You really have a gem here! Thanks so much for an incredible stay. This won't be the last time we book in, and we can't wait to come back soon. P.S. Sorry for any stray balloons we left behind.

The rooms were spacious and the facilities were good, but our stay was overshadowed by the way management treated us. From our first night, the manager was rude and unprofessional to our group, and their aggressive behaviour left us feeling uncomfortable and singled out. At one point, the manager forcefully shut a door on one of our group members. It was upsetting and completely unacceptable.

The Gold Rush unit worked so well for our group, with two separate bedrooms and ensuites, plenty of space, and a spotless interior. We loved the indoor-outdoor flow and the view of the inviting pool. It would suit two couples or grandparents on holiday with a young family. There’s lots to do in the park and nearby for all ages, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff at Reception were happy to point us in the right direction. We wish we could’ve stayed another night.
