Parkview Bed and Breakfast

Dallas was such a welcoming host, and we felt at home straight away. The place had everything we needed, and we've never stayed in a home this good. Calling it six stars wouldn't be too much.

We had a wonderful time here. The host was kind, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and shops and restaurants were only a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was just right.

I booked this for my daughter through the booking site. Three days before her stay, the accommodation contacted us asking us to cancel because they were having new carpet laid, but offered no alternative. When we asked the owner to arrange somewhere else at their expense, she got upset and hung up. Later she came back with another booking, but it wasn't suitable for my daughter. She has no car and had a lot of luggage, so we asked for somewhere nearer a bus stop, as we'd explained in our first conversation. They then said she could stay at their place after all, but there would be no carpet. They caused all this trouble and got angry with us, which we didn't understand. A service provider shouldn't dump their problem on a guest. Luckily, the booking site helped us find alternative accommodation. The last-minute hassle before departure on a busy weekend was really stressful.

We had a lovely stay at Parkview Bed + Breakfast on 6 September 2016. The friendly, lovely couple looked after us well, and we enjoyed the pleasant surroundings and comfy bed. We'll definitely recommend it to friends and family.
