Ewa and Keith, and even their dog, made this place special. They’ll do whatever they can to make your stay a good one. The lodge has beautiful old-world charm, but it didn’t feel old like many historic places I’ve stayed. Easily my best stay during nine days traveling around New Zealand.

Ewa and Keith are warm, genuine hosts who really show what hospitality can be. Fletcher Lodge is a beautiful building, full of interesting, attractive things. Staying here is a real must when you’re visiting Dunedin.

Eva was a marvellous hostess and made sure all our needs were met. The rooms were on a par with a five-star hotel. Superb place, I’d call it 10 out of 10.
