We loved winding down after a day exploring the glaciers and rainforest in the cozy lounge by the fireplace. Breakfast was delicious, served with a friendly smile, and a perfect start to a day out. The central spot in Fox Glacier village made it easy to walk to cafés, restaurants and local attractions. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches, and the common room had lovely views. From arrival, the staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful, making us feel at home in this beautiful boutique hotel. The attention to detail, excellent service and peaceful atmosphere made our stay memorable. We highly recommend Te Weheka Hotel Fox Glacier and will definitely be back! 🇳🇿✨

IMHO, this was our first five-star hotel. The room was easy to use, with nothing confusing or gimmicky, and everything worked as expected. The bathrooms were amazing: a long, deep tub for baths and barrier-free showers for showering. Just right.

The host is so friendly and can offer a thousand local and regional tips if you want them. We had beautiful views from our room balcony and enjoyed the freshly cooked English breakfast, plus the buffet of cereals and condiments. Just what we needed before hiking up to the glacier. A lovely, peaceful place to spend the night.

Ash went above and beyond from the moment we arrived, and we felt special and very welcome at Te Weheka. The room had thoughtful touches that showed impressive attention to detail, and the amenities were top-notch. Staff were always on hand for requests and clearly cared about our comfort and satisfaction. We left grateful and keen to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay! The staff went above and beyond during our overnight stay. Our room, though, was disappointing because it looked out onto the roof of the building opposite, unlike what the online photos showed. It seems only the second-floor rooms have those expansive views.
