Bk's Palm Court Motor Lodge

I picked Palm Court for its five-minute walk to my family, and I'm so glad I stayed. The room was spacious, lovely, secure, and the bathroom impressed me with its size and cleanliness. Brendan and the other host, Jhevell, were so lovely and made me feel welcome. On Friday night a rowdy group arrived, and as a solo traveller I was worried the night would be uncomfortable. Brendan sprang into action, and it was peaceful for the rest of the night. I really appreciate how proactive you were. I'll be back in six months and will definitely book again. Highly recommend Palm Court as a lovely place to stay with amazing hosts. Thanks again, team :)

We were travelling through to Gisborne to get out of town when high winds and rain picked up, so we decided at the last minute to find somewhere to stay. I'm glad we chose this place. Room 15 was cosy and spotless, surprisingly modern, and had everything we needed, including a kettle, toaster, coffee, and hot chocolate sachets. The guy at reception was in a great mood and made me feel comfortable right away. He even offered fresh milk for the morning. My partner, my son, and I had a great stay.

We only booked one night, luckily. The manager was an idiot, and this place wasn't family friendly. During the day, the kids were told to shut up because shift workers were sleeping. I wouldn't spend my hard-earned money here again and won't be coming back. If I could give it 0/10, I would. Honestly, book somewhere else if you have kids.

The manager and his wife showed us great hospitality. My work colleague and I stayed three nights and arrived late at night; I was grateful the manager was there to greet us and show us to the room. It was very clean, with a lovely little kitchen area and an impeccably clean bathroom. My bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend BK's Palm Court Motor Lodge!
