The TV picture was unclear, there was no service to speak of, and I found cobwebs everywhere. The place was dirty and old, with no milk, a cracked hairdryer and a broken plug. I’ve heard it’s a place for the homeless. Please avoid it if possible.

We had a roof over our heads and a bed for the night, at least, but this was a last resort. The room smelled of stale smoke, and the beds looked past their best. At $170 a night, it wasn’t worth the price.

The fridge was very noisy overnight, and the toilet made strange noises after flushing. Two sets of lights weren’t working either. I had trouble sleeping because of a pissy smell in the room. I think the mattress needs to be thrown out and replaced. I’d probably give cleanliness a 3.

The bed was okay, though I found a topper pad on top of the mattress. The room was clean but very outdated, and the shower looked unappealing, so we didn’t use it. A kitchen cupboard was broken, and there was no guest compendium. Not worth $170, and I wouldn’t stay again.

Lovely host, very accommodating, and the parking was good. The place is close to amenities, with cafes and bars within walking distance. The rooms are older and worn, but spacious and very clean. The beds and furniture weren’t the best, though they were comfortable. The linens were clean and fresh, but poor quality. Well priced for what it is.
