The snacks and drinks were such a nice surprise, and we really appreciated them. The house itself was lovely, though there was road base debris by the front door. I couldn't get the washing machine open, but the owner talked me through it over the phone. We'd recommend staying here.

We arrived during a very cold weekend, and unfortunately there was no heating on for us. There wasn't any heating in the hall or bedrooms either. The underfloor heating controls had been taped over so they couldn't be touched, and that seemed to affect the heated towel rails too. This didn't feel like a five-star stay.
