Its city centre location is a big plus, and the price is very affordable. With Wintec city campus only a 100m walk away, there are lots of students around, so it feels like a private youth hostel. The rooms aren't clean to NZ standards, and I wouldn't recommend staying long term, but it could suit new students needing temporary accommodation. There are no attached bathrooms. Each floor has a shared kitchen, though the kitchen isn't clean. Coin-operated laundry is available.

Boo, Hamilton is the worst city in New Zealand. Boo Hamilton, boo the Chiefs in Hamilton, Waikato. Boo FMG Stadium Waikato. Hamilton is the worst city of all time.

The rooms are narrow and cramped, with little privacy and no real space. There are lots of people around, and it wasn't clean. The kitchen is shared.
