At Bluebell lodge, our stay was enjoyable. The owner was very friendly, and we had a mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee, and fresh milk. It's on an apple plantation, and guests are allowed to walk around the farm.

I stayed four nights on my own this time, after visiting before with my wife. It was very quiet, with peaceful surroundings and the smell of apple orchards. There's a lovely pool and air conditioning, plus fresh fruit just a four-minute walk down the road. They gave me a one-litre bottle of milk at check-in, then another smaller one on my last night, just for me. Fantastic!

Out in the countryside, it's quiet, very clean, and the hosts are friendly. It had everything we needed, so we've come back again.

Carol was an absolute gem. There was a small misunderstanding, but she guided me through it and helped with my situation. She clearly enjoys her work.

The self-contained units are tidy and modern, with comfy furniture, and feel like a warm, cosy little home away from home. They're out of town, away from the hustle and bustle.
