Gloucester House Motel

We've put employees up here several times, and they've had very positive feedback. The motel is also well placed for supermarkets, places to eat, and activities, with very reasonable prices. The proprietors are lovely and go out of their way to help. Inside, everything is well maintained and the furnishings are in good shape. The carpets look brand new, with excellent underlay.

Jennie and her partner, who manage the place, were helpful at every step and made the stay feel great. The service was what impressed me most. Rooms and facilities were very clean and up to date, and supermarkets and other main amenities are just a two-minute walk away. Loved the vibe. Cheers to you both.

The pool was a highlight, especially for a late-night swim, and the beds were comfortable. We also liked the roomy bathroom with its separate toilet, the kitchenette stocked with everything, the lounge, and especially the air conditioning. Parking was spacious and secure, and the staff were friendly. We had a welcoming stay and will keep recommending this motel.

The location was great, and the staff were friendly. We also had a comfortable bed and enjoyed the refreshing pool, so the stay was fine in those ways. But the room was very noisy. The hot water cylinder hissed loudly in the early hours, and I wondered whether it served the whole block. Noise from other guests was a problem too. The blinds blocked none of the light, which might be fine during the day, but a streetlight was right outside. I wouldn't choose to stay here again or recommend it to friends.
