The hosts were so warm and friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed, peaceful feel. Our spacious, beautiful room was tucked away somewhere secluded, but still close to town. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it.

Lovely house and garden, with a clean lodge, a large room, and a bath. The owner prepares breakfast to order.

We had plenty of room in the spacious en-suite, and there was lots of parking too. Fraser welcomed us, and the hosts really went out of their way to make our stay lovely. Breakfast was great. It was nice being among the green trees, away from the town centre. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it.

Anne and Fraser, thanks for looking after us so well. It was a short stay, but a sweet one, with a lovely breakfast and fantastic hospitality. You both do a great job. We’ll definitely book here again when we’re back in Hokitika.

The rooms were tidy, and the place itself is beautiful. Fraser and Ann greeted us with smiles and laughs right away. It’s about a 5 minute drive out of town and on the way to Hokitika Gorge. Breakfast was delicious. Have a chat with Frasier about Marmite, he seems to have strong views on what counts as the “good” stuff. A big recommendation if you’re visiting Hokitaka. Cheers, Ville.
