Balmoral Lodge Motel

We got a good-sized unit with an upstairs and downstairs, plus two large TVs. The heater was already on when we arrived. We needed two separate beds for one night, and the rate was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We stayed three nights while my son and I were in town for a racing event at Teretonga. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the temperature control was excellent. It was easy to park right outside. The bathroom was large, clean, and modern, and the kitchenette had what we needed for basic meals. We couldn't fault the place. We've gone on to Queenstown before flying back to Australia tomorrow, and wish our motel there were as nice as Balmoral Lodge. If we come back to race at Teretonga, we’ll book Balmoral Lodge again without hesitation.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and the staff friendly. Although Balmoral is near the main road, we didn't hear traffic after 10pm, even on a Saturday. Splash Palace is close by, and BK, Mitre10, and Woolworths are within walking distance. We had a great stay.

The beds were comfy, the place was very clean, and they provided a decent amount of milk along with Milo and hot drink sachets. The location was handy too. The shower ran out quickly, and a large truck was parked outside my son's window with a man sleeping in it, so we had to close the curtains early. That wasn't the motel's fault, though. I'd stay again and definitely recommend it.
