We stayed for 3 nights. It’s an older place with old-style cupboards, but the unit was spacious, clean and warm. There was a heater in both the lounge and bathroom, plus a doona, blankets and an electric heater for the bed. The windows felt secure and opened for good ventilation, and the neighbourhood and other guests were quiet. Internet was fast, and parking was right in front of the unit. Towels were changed, bins emptied, and the milk punnets, tea and coffee were replenished each morning. There was also a hairdryer and a box of tissues. The rings on the stove heated the pots surprisingly quickly, so cooking our meals was no trouble. Washing dishes in the sink without a flickmixer was a bit challenging, though. Bring your own shower toiletries, and a bigger shower caddy would be useful. We appreciated having the basics, but the small shower caddy didn’t give us much room for things.

The host was amazing, a really good sort, and we wish her well for the future. The motel is close to everything, and having a fridge and stove in the room meant we could shop and cook instead of eating out so much. Thanks for a great stay. Maa and Abs

Jo was a great help with directions and suggestions for places to go. We had a peaceful, relaxing two-night stay in a warm, spotless room that was a good size. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was a little dated, but warm and had everything we needed. Most important, the bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket, perfect for winter. The hostess was lively and showed us to our room herself, with the heating already on. It’s a smaller motel away from the hustle and bustle, and we’d stay again if we’re in the area.
