It felt welcoming, and it was lovely coming back to a warm home. The kitchen was clean, the beds were warm, and there was neat art in the spare bathroom. Wishing them all the best for the future.

At 10:15, I was only checking my email on my phone using the $3 Wi-Fi, and being called a thief was a pretty awful experience. The owner came across as rude, and I left with a bitter impression. Good luck for the future.

There were signs everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do, and the owner seemed stressed about running the hostel. This was the worst hostel I've stayed in in NZ. I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, and the host was very, very friendly. Perfect!
