The Langlands Hotel

When I left a few things behind, the hotel sent them to the airport so I could collect them the next time I passed through town a few days later. The service was excellent. My room was quiet, clean, and spacious, and the shower was great. It's an upscale hotel right in the centre, close to restaurants, and about a seven-minute taxi ride from the airport, which cost $25. I'd stay here again.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and our junior suite was well equipped for the one night we stayed. The bed was comfortable, and we didn't hear noise from other rooms. The hotel is well located, with dining options and a rooftop bar. Secure overnight parking costs $15. A couple of things didn't work as expected: you can cast YouTube to the TV, but not Netflix, and the remote has a Netflix button that brings up “Not Available.” They also don't take AMEX, which seems strange for a place like this.

The staff here are total LEGENDS. They looked after everything, from parking and the restaurant to room cleaning and customer interaction. I'm down for Field Days in Waimumu, GORE, and this is my first stay. I've had dinner at the hotel restaurant three times, and every meal was so good I left happy. I love food made with love, and the chef deserves a pay rise 😊 My stay was paid for by work, and I'm thankful for that. Thanks to everyone at The Langlands Hotel for making my first visit such an awesome experience. I highly recommend it for anyone on this kind of budget. I'll definitely be back. 10/10 😊😊👍👍👏👏👏👏🙏🙏

We enjoyed the 360 rooftop bar on two evenings, and had breakfast at Melt, both great. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room at The Langlands Hotel was spacious, with a comfy bed, pillows, and bedding. The bathroom had room for our things, good lighting, and a nice shower. The toiletries smelled so good, and we especially liked having a comfy couch at the foot of the bed for watching TV. A beautiful hotel, and we'd happily stay again.
