We had a great stay at Colonial on Tay with the family. Denise and Roger were so welcoming, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed, which made our time in Invercargill easy and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We'd happily come back and recommend it to families or anyone passing through.

Such an amazing motel. The hosts are wonderful, the service is superb, and it’s the cleanest place to stay.

Denise made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the room was clean and just right for us. The motel was also close to where we needed to go. I’d called ahead to check they had Sky sport so we could watch the Warriors game, and Denise was so helpful she took our booking over the phone. After such a long trip, that friendly welcome meant a lot. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it.

This was my second visit, staying with my Dad while he worked around the South Island. The owners are friendly, and it’s cosy and warm in winter. Shops and supermarkets are within walking distance, too. Very affordable 😊
