The hosts clearly have a real passion for their gardens, and it shows. The gardens alone are worth the drive out.

By chance we found Folster Gardens, booked one night, and ended up staying two. Trevor and Lnne were such warm, genuine, and friendly hosts that we felt at ease right away. This was one of our favourite stops during our three-week tour of the North and South Islands. Thank you, Lynne and Trev, for helping make the trip memorable. I haven’t stayed here, but I came for a fundraising event and got to wander through the beautiful gardens. The setting alone makes me think it would be a fantastic place to stay.

A serene setting with good gardening and a pleasant, intelligent host. They provided a good breakfast. A good choice for visitors looking for peaceful accommodation.
