We were there as a couple for four days and loved our time at the hotel. The suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, and modern, with everything well looked after. It was a lovely place to unwind after a day out. The staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the calm atmosphere and care in the details made us feel at home. We’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, and housekeeping kept everything tidy. The hotel’s modern interior was well maintained. Staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help with requests. Restaurants and transport nearby made it easy to get around and explore. I’d consider staying again on my next visit.

We spent 10 nights at the Distinction Hotel Invercargill and looked forward to returning to a clean, comfortable room each evening. The rooms are generous in size, and having a washer and dryer in the room was incredibly useful. The building feels well constructed, with convenient, comfortable facilities, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Invercargill is a fantastic place to visit, and I’d recommend this hotel to travellers.

I had a superb stay at the Distinction. Breakfast had a very good range of choices, and leaving was easy. On arrival, the staff were welcoming. My spacious room had a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The hotel is right in the centre, close to shops and restaurants. Thanks!

We only stayed one night after visiting the Catlins, and I wish we’d had longer. The room was modern, large, soundproofed, and so dark and comfortable with the automatic curtains that I sent my husband downstairs for coffee while I slept in. The hotel is stylish, and the staff were welcoming and helpful at every turn. The bar lounge is worth a visit, especially for the warm nuts, and the restaurant’s food was excellent. The seafood chowder was sensational. We didn’t try breakfast, but I’m writing this as enormous servings are coming out.
