We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked longer. Julie was friendly and gave us loads of advice about the surrounding area. Breakfast was very good, and the room and ensuite were spacious and spotlessly clean. The garden and grounds were immaculate. Possibly the best B&B in South Island New Zealand, very highly recommended.

The location is so convenient for exploring Kaikoura, and the view is absolutely stunning. Bendamere House Bed and Breakfast felt cozy and familiar, with charming rooms that made us feel at home. The owner is a lovely, kind lady who made us feel welcome, and the excellent breakfast was prepared with such care. We honestly can’t think of anything to complain about. A heartwarming stay, and we’d highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

The garden and room have stunning views, though none of the photos do them justice. And the shortbread biscuits were amazing, Ted Lasso would be proud of them. Excellent B&B.

The breakfast was delicious, and there’s an easy walk to local restaurants too. It’s also a short walk into kiakoura town and to activities like whale watching and the dolphins. The rooms were purpose built, comfortable and luxurious, with excellent facilities and enough parking for all the guests. The boutique hotel sits in lovely green surroundings with fantastic ocean views.
