The White Morph

Waking up to the ocean and sunrise was incredible. The rooms were modern and clean, with plenty of amenities, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's only a short walk to the main strip, where there are lots of places to eat and drink. We had an amazing experience and definitely recommend staying here.

The two-bedroom family unit was spread over two floors and suited four of us for two nights. It was clean and quiet, with a reasonably well-equipped kitchen and a TV with 50 Sky channels. Eateries and other spots are about 1km away. The unit isn't suitable for people with limited mobility. Staff seemed reluctant to give us extra milk and tea bags, and the Wi-Fi was very unreliable.

The location of the White Morph is top tier, and I fell in love with Kaikoura during my stay. The loft was excellent, with comfy beds, beautiful ocean views, and so much quiet. I was sad we couldn't stay longer. Heated towel racks were a welcome touch, and we used the washer and dryer, with complimentary laundry detergent available at the front desk.

Kaikoura was only a stop on our three-week NZ itinerary, and we didn't really know what to expect. The White Morph turned out to be an exceptional place to stay. Our top-floor beachside room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet, though we could hear the waves at night. Staff were excellent, and there was off-street parking. The only small drawback for me at 6'3" was that the shower head was a bit low, but the giant jetted tub was plenty big. Highly recommend.
