At least the sheets were clean. We paid $220 cash, which didn't feel like value when other places on our trip cost around $150-180 and had great rooms and a normal, edible breakfast. The breakfast we'd been looking forward to was disappointing, and the toast was impossible to cut or bite through. The old Venetian blinds didn't work either. The photos on Google show a nice blue pool and spacious rooms, but the pool is now a green cesspit, and the place looks nothing like them.

Mum's health meant our stay was cut short, but the team did a lovely job while we were there. Alistair was amazing with Mum, who's 96 and normally lives in a rest home, and took her in as aunty Daphne. Our unit was comfortable, with lovely beds and a little deck to sit on. As someone with a hospitality background, I found it very clean. Breakfast was amazing, with cereal and toppings followed by bacon and eggs. The driveway was a little tricky to manoeuvre, but the other positives made up for that. Well done, team!

The bed was warm and comfy, and breakfast was super yummy, with bacon, eggs, baked beans, and toast, plus muesli, yoghurt, and fruit salad ready on the table. They were accommodating and showed great hospitality. Everything else was perfect, though the shower pressure was really low, so I'd recommend upgrading the shower head.

We booked the room very spontaneously and couldn't find anything to complain about. The bed was heated, the room had everything we needed, and the location was super central, just a five-minute walk to the Main Street. The host was really friendly and made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Host, area, breakfast, accommodation, 10/10! I'd definitely recommend this place with 5⭐️!
