I could have sat on the porch for hours watching the waves. The sea view is incredible, and the owner was kind and quick to help whenever we needed something. The place is spotless and tidy, thoughtfully organised, and full of little touches that made us feel at home. It's easily one of my favourite places in all of NZ. Kaka Point is a lovely, safe little community, and everyone we met made us feel welcome. The Caitlins are wonderful to explore, and there's a really good pub close by. I also loved seeing the wooden building made of wood and driftwood, it suits the coastal feel perfectly. I can't recommend this place enough and hope we can come back soon. If you're looking for somewhere special in this area, this is it.

We stayed three nights in this lovely one bedroom unit, right across from the beach and next to the pub. It was perfect for day trips around the Caitlins. The lounge looks out to a spectacular sea view that kept changing. One evening we watched a cruise ship sail by from the couch. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the heated bathroom floor. The kitchen had everything we needed except a dishwasher. We'd happily stay again and definitely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at Seascape Accommodation on holiday in Kaka Point. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and very convenient for the things we wanted to do. The manager/owner was available and accommodating when we had questions. We had a great experience and will definitely stay again on our next visit.
