Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE. We stayed a few nights, and the room was very dirty from day one, including the carpet. The cleaners didn’t do their job: the bathroom was never cleaned, and all they did was make the bed. We even found a cockroach in the room. I can post a picture if needed, because that’s completely unacceptable for the price. Strong cooking smells from the neighbouring room came into ours, and we could hear the neighbour snoring too.

We’re a couple from Hamilton and were exhausted after travelling and driving most of the day. The chalet-style room gave us space to unwind, and it was comfortable and clean. Reception was warm and welcoming. The motel is well placed for walking into town, and we managed to relax during our one-night stay. Highly recommended.

We liked the good-sized rooms and kitchen facilities, including the decent-sized fridge. The magnetic door lock is cool and works well. Even though it’s in town, the only thing we could hear at night was the falls. Homestead Tavern is next door.

We came for our mum’s birthday and had an amazing stay in a pool-view unit. The view was amazing, and the unit had a balcony overlooking the pool. My baby loved the pool.

We come back to this motel every time we visit. The rooms are always very clean and cosy, with a pleasant fragrance that makes them feel like home. The garden is beautiful and well kept, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
