Jenn was so friendly and helpful, and even introduced us to her cute pets. The lodge felt warm and cozy throughout. It’s nicely decorated, clean and warm, with comfortable beds, fresh linens and clean bathrooms. The location just outside town was convenient, about a 15-minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely look at coming back.

The place was so lovely that I hope my future home looks like it. Jen is a great host, and I absolutely loved staying here. I’d definitely recommend it for a trip to queenstown.

I liked the peaceful country setting near Lake Hayes, with its garden and mountain views. The rooms are warm and well equipped. Shared spaces include a kitchen with snacks and other supplies, dining and family rooms, a library, and a separate lounge with a log fire and quiet garden outlook. Jennifer is both a lovely person and a consummate professional as a host. I enjoyed the first stay enough to come back for a second, and thoroughly recommend it.

We found this place at the last minute on a spontaneous trip and were so glad we did. It’s spacious, has high quality equipment, and we were made to feel welcome with our two dogs. At Queenstown Country Lodge, the bed, bathroom and effective heating were all just right, details that can be missed in accommodation. We felt relaxed and at home, and would love to return with more time. Thanks so much.

We stayed for one night in the shotover room, which was spacious and had an en-suite. The kitchen was very well equipped. We only crossed paths with the other guests, despite the shared facilities. There was fudge by the bed and a free bottle of wine was offered, though we didn’t use it. We’ll definitely come back.
