The kids loved the pool, though it only opens at set times, and we’ve used the long-term parking more than once. The drop-off shuttle is easy to arrange, but expect a wait for the return trip. One van serves two hotels, and they don’t give an ETA when you say you’re at the pickup point. Room quality depends on whether it’s been refurbished. There are some permanent residents at the motel.

Noise from nearby buildings at night was pretty annoying. Still, the customer service was excellent, helpful, friendly and professional, so I gave them 5/5 across the board. The location is central, making it quick to get to the city centre, outlet malls, the airport and Butterfly Creek. It’s great for a family, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and the shuttle is great. They’ll look after your car for free for seven days, which is handy for travelers. The staff are always so friendly, and the service is the best. I love staying here and highly recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable, with perfect beds, warm blankets (I get cold easily), and plenty of hot water in the shower. The kitchen was well stocked with a stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and small fridge. There were hangers in the closet, and they even have a pool, though I was too cold to swim. The staff were gracious, even when family requests got close to overbearing. Their check-in office has a sign that says something like “Come as visitors, leave as friends,” and they really lived up to it. A very pleasant stay.

The rooms were large and very clean, and I especially liked the modern bathroom and strong shower pressure. I booked last minute on trip.com, then called and was able to jump straight on their free airport shuttle. So handy. The staff were probably the nicest I’ve come across at a motel. I’ll stay here whenever I have an overnight layover in Auckland.
