Auckland Airport Lodge

The rooms are apartment-sized, really spacious, and the beds were sooooo comfortable. Everything was very clean, even though parts like the carpet were worn. I loved it and would come back. All the rooms are level groups, which makes getting to the parking easy.

Convenient to have the parking space right outside our room. For a short night before heading to the airport, it was about what you'd expect from an airport lodge, and we felt we got what we paid for. The prices could be a little lower.

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and motels, and this was the worst accommodation I've had. The cot they gave me had dried vomit on it, and the staff's customer service was poor, especially the Manager's husband. I definitely don't recommend it.

We had a delayed flight into Auckland, nearly five hours late, leaving us with only about three hours to use the room. Brian understood the situation, especially since we had a baby, and kindly let us stay a few extra hours at no charge. It made a huge difference. The rooms are dated, but this isn't the Novatel, and the prices aren't the same either. I honestly can't complain about anything. The staff treated us wonderfully, with warm, straightforward hospitality, a chat, and the occasional joke. My family and I will definitely book here again on our next trip home.
