I really enjoyed my stay in this warm, cosy little place. The hosts are friendly, happy to answer questions, and Mapua township is just a short walk away. I’d highly recommend it!

Comfy, warm, and welcoming, this cute little studio is right in the middle of Mapua and an easy stroll from everything you need. The hosts were lovely, and the neighbourhood cat made cheeky visits. I’d definitely stay again.

Writing on behalf of Lochlea Resort, I have to say our residents were very disappointed. They’d been looking forward to four nights in Mapua, but the place wasn’t clean, the outdoor kitchen was below standard, and the chairs were falling apart. We won’t choose it again. I have photos, though I can’t share them here.

We loved the spacious rooms, with plenty of room to spread out. The place is beautiful and within walking distance of the town centre, and the hosts were absolutely lovely and helpful.

Martin and Shauna are fantastic hosts who are happy to share plenty of local knowledge. It’s a great base for exploring the area, and the wharf and its restaurants are an easy stroll away.
