It's a nice, quiet, clean place, and the reception staff were consistently helpful and efficient. The shared kitchen was the main issue: with so many guests, it could get crowded during the busy season. I also often found the kitchen and bathroom completely closed while the cleaner was working, which was annoying since access depended on her schedule. They could improve that.

The kitchen was well equipped, and paying 50 cents for a hot shower was fine. The bunk bed lodge can get quite warm. The place itself was alright, and the owners seemed nice at first, but it felt like they'd do anything to get a couple of dollars from you. The drying machine was broken, and when I asked for my coins back, the woman said it wasn't her fault, she hadn't known it was broken, and she wouldn't return my four dollars. It wasn't about the money so much as the disrespect toward customers. I also heard bad stories from other people staying at the campground at the same time. I would never go back.

The campground was calm and clean, with everything you need and then some. There was a shared vegetable and herb garden, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of tables for a nice meal outside. The shower was the best I'd had in a while, and six minutes for 50 cents felt like ages under it. The internet was a little slow, but the free 1go was nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely stay. A friendly, helpful guy was on staff and let us store our bikes while we hired a kayak for a couple of days. The holiday park also had one of the best herb and vegetable gardens I've seen.

For a couple of nights, this place is fine. The bathroom had a bit of a smell, and the floor got wet, while the furniture felt rather old. A tent site for $21 is a good deal, though, and there’s a small kitchen, TV lounge, and 1gb of free WiFi. Showers cost 50 cents.
