A good spot for a few nights, with a clean room, free parking, good service, and a convenient location. There’s a kettle and fridge, but no cooking facilities. They’re partnered with local restaurants that offer 10% off. For origami, make sure to show your room key to get the discount, as they’re very strict about it.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was cosy and comfortable, with views of the art deco buildings, and the beach was very close. Eateries, supermarkets, and attractions were all an easy walk away. The customer service was thoughtful too. A big thank you to all the staff, I appreciate you 💛

We could see the midnight fireworks clearly from our room. Check-in was pleasant, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and met our needs. The location is handy for walking to Marine Parade and lots of restaurants, shops, and bars. There are nine parking spots at the hotel, plus the council parking building across the road.

The parking spaces are tight, though there’s plenty of street parking and a car park opposite. Parking there is free overnight, after lunch on Saturday, and all day Sunday. The rooms were clean and had fresh towels every day. Great location, opposite what I thought was the best restaurant in Napier.

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and we had a great time. Expressotel Napier is ideally placed for walking around downtown and getting to the beach. Its parking lot is small, but we managed to park there on a weekday and used the lot across the street for free overnight.
