Our hostess was lovely and made sure we were comfortable. She even upgraded our room for the final two days. The rooms were clean and tidy, with facilities to cook if needed, and there’s a washing machine and dryer on site. It’s close to the airport, while Nelson shops and beaches are a short drive away.

Tanya went out of her way to check on us, and the cake and Raspberry muffins she gave us were lovely. She was a good hostess, and it’s a great motel. We’d stay there again if we were in Nelson. Judy & Keith Jackson.

The unit is in an old house, but the service was excellent and Tanya was a great host. You can walk to the beach, though it’d be tough with toddlers. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a comfortable bed and a roomy two bedroom unit, and couldn’t have asked for more. Tanya was so helpful, even with the broken bike we had the night before the race. She also kindly drove us to registration for the Abel Tasman Cycle Challenge. Great Nelson hospitality, thanks Tanya.

The manager was outstandingly friendly and helpful, picking us up and taking us back to the airport general aviation area. That made this a five star stay. It’s handy to the airport, though not near anything else in Nelson, and a ride downtown costs $20 to 30. The rooms are dated but clean, with kitchen facilities and equipment. It’s a motel.
