Belinda was so welcoming, and the rooms were tidy and very clean. The view was amazing too. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast room and the complimentary toast, cereal and yogurt to start the day. Had a great stay at Harborside Motor Lodge, thanks Belinda!

The hostess was exceptionally friendly, and there’s a great range of options in the included continental breakfast. It’s a lovely site with excellent facilities. For an amazing meal during your stay, check out the Anchor restaurant right next door.

The staff were great, and I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming this place felt. When they learned I have a disability, they promptly moved us to a ground-floor unit with easy access to the harbour and the restaurant next door.

We were glad we picked this place for the Nelson leg of our honeymoon trip around New Zealand in mid-March 2025. It’s a peaceful, elegant spot, though a little removed from things. We had lovely harbour views, especially at sunrise and sunset, and enjoyed the continental breakfast. Even with the small, tight lot, parking our larger SUV was never a problem. The staff were really friendly, and we’d recommend staying here! 😊
