The place was very clean and secure, and I could keep my bicycles inside the building. Ryan, Daniel, and Naz were a great help, giving us useful directions into downtown and advice on where to shop for the specific things we needed for our cycle tour. I'd definitely come back if I visit Nelson again.

The beds were clean, there were plenty of showers, and the rooms stayed quiet. The beach is right across the street, and I think the hostel held two BBQs during the week I was there. I had a great time in December 17'. The staff were really helpful, arranging last-minute rides out of town to the Abel tasman trek starting point. As locals, they knew their way around and even offered me a lift to the supermarket more than once.

The owners were very cool, and the bar had great offers. On Saturday night there was a barbecue with one free beer. The kitchen is big and the facilities were clean, but those silky blankets were a nightmare.

New fittings, new owners and a great vibe. We'd spent a couple of weeks staying in backpackers around NZ, and this was easily the best stay of the trip. All the best for the future, guys. You'll kill it!

Everything was spotless and the staff were really friendly. They gave us a free barbecue and Christmas presents, and breakfast was really good. I'd love to come back.
