It was surprisingly quiet despite being near a main road. The accommodation was clean and had all the essentials, though the room itself was fairly basic. It’s just outside the CBD, around a $10 taxi ride to the centre. We’d stay again.

The owners were lovely and went out of their way to help with what I needed. The small unit was warm and tidy, with an LCD TV, a wall fan heater, a kitchenette and a decent sized bathroom. My only disappointment was the hot water pressure: the shower was either cold with high pressure or a dribble when hot. I’d still recommend it.

We found it good value, and our family really liked the comfortable two-bed unit. The interior was nicely appointed, though the outside looked a little dated. It’s an easy 15-minute walk into town.

Handy location if you’re just passing through, with a nice bakery and a convenience store right next door. The kitchen is small and so is the fridge. It’s not bad for a night, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer, especially if you plan to cook for yourself.
