We spent a week here and would gladly come back. The staff were kind and welcoming, especially when we had car trouble. They let us leave the car parked there for an extra night, which was a big help during a stressful moment. The room stayed spotless and was clearly well maintained. The bed was large and very comfortable, and both the TV and fast, reliable WiFi worked perfectly. Everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Landmark Manor was a lovely home away from home, marked by a beautiful Pohutukawa tree. The room was clean and roomy, and the amenities were great. It was also perfectly located and easy to find. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend it for a getaway.

The staff were super friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants and eateries close by. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The location is good, but the 'cheapest' studio wasn't worth the premium price. Twice I was told to use a specific parking spot, and both times it was unavailable, so I had to park on the road. I was concerned about being towed because of the impression the proprietors gave. Their response to my review had an interesting recollection of this. The hand basin was in the kitchenette area rather than the bathroom. I was told it wasn't a kitchenette, but it was clearly a food prep space, so using the sink for both washing after the toilet and preparing food felt unhygienic and culturally inappropriate. The online photos didn't show a toilet basin, but I would have assumed there was one. The room description should make this clear, as it could put people off. The shower leaked and there was no conditioner. When I needed help 15 minutes before the office closed, the staff member assisted but seemed annoyed and clearly unhappy about it. Overall, it didn't feel welcoming.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the owners made us feel very welcome. It’s centrally located, with a supermarket and eateries just a short walk away. Well worth the drive from Auckland.
