Colonial Lodge Motel

The rooms are comfortable, with a couch and plenty of space to sit and relax. I could bring my dog without any problem. We were in the front room by the road, and although I thought traffic might keep me awake, it was fine. The bathroom was fresh, clean and roomy. Staff were helpful, quick to reply to emails and personable at check-in. I’ll definitely book again and have recommended it to family.

The studio was $117, which felt like great value. It was spotless and really warm when we arrived, thanks to the underfloor heating and the hostess turning on the heat and lights for us after our late arrival. She was lovely. There were nice little extras too, like makeup remover pads and sachets of plunger coffee. Great motel.

We had an amazing stay. The service was outstanding, and the place was clean and tidy with comfy beds. We recommend the colonial lodge to everyone. Thank you for our stay.

We booked at short notice after an unexpected change to our trip. The two-room unit was basic but easily good enough for what we needed. The bedrooms were great, with enough bedding for a chilly night, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were cozy, as you’d expect in a motel. There was plenty of parking, and the soundproofing was good. We could barely hear SH1.
