Jacqui and Neil gave us such a warm welcome and were very accommodating. The Victorian building is beautiful, with tasteful decor and lots of thoughtful little touches. Our bedroom was immaculately clean, and the bed was so comfortable that we had the best night's sleep. Breakfast was just right: fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereal, toast, and tasty croissants.

It's a great B&B in a historic house, with a magnificent garden. Oamaru's gardens, historic streets, and quirky attractions are just a short stroll away. The host was lovely and had plenty of suggestions for places to eat, sights nearby, and things to see around the region. The continental breakfast was excellent.

The accommodation was wonderful, and the host was amazing, happy to share great suggestions about the area. Cafes, restaurants, and local sites were all easy to get to from this central spot.

We loved staying in this beautiful home, and the location was great. Shanties is a warm host who knows the area well. We hope to come back soon.

After a long drive, having a lounge to relax in was just what I needed. The Vicarage was lovely, and Jacqui made me feel welcome and at home. What an amazing find, and a wonderful experience x
