The toilets and showers were first class, with very powerful showers that lasted 7 minutes. The cubicles even had automatic lighting and heating. We stayed in late February when the park was quiet. Our powered site, No 33, was spacious and peaceful, backed onto a stream. The kitchen was spotless and modern, like everything else. A short 2 minute woodland walk takes you to the town centre, making this park close to perfect.

The location is great, within walking distance of the town centre, and reception gives a detailed rundown of local activities plus a discount sheet for attractions. We stayed with our family and motorhome, and the friendly staff made a real effort to welcome the kids, even surprising them with little treats. The atmosphere was warm, the facilities were sparkling clean, and there was an amazing playground with excellent amenities. It felt like every little detail had been thought through. One of the best places we stayed on our trip.

Our 6-year-old loved the play area, and the hot spa at the end of each day was the highlight. We were there over the long weekend with our young family and had an incredible stay. The motel unit was immaculate and felt almost brand new. The grounds were stunning, with a peaceful stream running alongside. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommended!
10/10
We booked 2 nights. The facilities are top notch, with well-kept bathrooms and a kitchen offering lots of options: airfryers, ovens, grills, gas, induction and more. There are playgrounds where children can spend most of their time, plus a room with toys for toddlers. A family bathroom is near the kitchen and laundry.
10/10
Great facilities, kept clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly during our family stay over Kings Birthday weekend. It’s a very short walk to town, the famous giant carrot, the adventure playground and pumptrack. There are also some amazing walks and cycle tails in the area.
