The room was spacious and accommodating, with comfortable beds and a really large bathroom with a huge spa. Our towels were changed daily, and the washing machine and dryer were close by. There was also a little spot on the grass for smokers to sit, and the motel is not far from the plaza. What made our stay special was how the hosts treated my family and me. They were so approachable, hardworking, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Karinga (apologies if spelt wrong) knows a lot about the culture, and we were lucky to hear stories and learn things we didn't know. We also got suggestions for places to visit and eat, and they didn't disappoint. If you're not local, it's better to ask them than rely on Google and risk being disappointed. We felt like family rather than guests, and I'd rather spend my money staying here than anywhere else. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts.

The furniture needs replacing, and the rooms badly need refurbishment. The sofa bed in the lounge was stuffed, the toilet seat was broken, and the fridge looked about 25 years old. The owners were grumpy and short with us. Look at all the other options first.

I don't usually write reviews, but these owners are first class. Their service was well above what we expected, and they were friendlier than we could have hoped for. Highly recommend if you're ever in Palmy. Many thanks, the Faulkners from Christchurch.

The room suited our needs perfectly, and it was comfortable and close to everything. The owner and manager was super friendly, very accommodating, and made us feel welcome. Thanks for looking after us so well and accepting our booking at such short notice.

We had a hot tub spa in our room, which was a great way to relax in the evening. My partner and I enjoyed every moment, and our host was welcoming from the start of our stay right through to the end. Would highly recommend this place to others.
