Distinction Palmerston North Hotel & Conference Centre

There's a lot of redecorating happening at this older hotel, with plenty of nice touches that made it feel special. On checkout I had a lovely chat with one of the housekeeping team, though I didn't get her name. She was fantastic and so kind. She suggested a route to Wellington via the newly opened Te Āpiti – Manawatū Gorge road and the beautiful town of Greytown, places we would have missed if we hadn't spoken with her.

Kama gave outstanding service at the Distinction Hotel & Conference in Palmerston North today. He was professional, welcoming and helpful, and went above and beyond. I'd come back based on his hospitality alone.

I stayed here for over two weeks and was comfortable the whole time. The room was great, the location was perfect, and the service was excellent. Karma and his team were especially friendly and helpful, and their hospitality made the stay enjoyable.

The property is old, but it's well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The rooms, location and service all suited us perfectly during our three-night stay. Everyone on staff we met was excellent. There's a restaurant and bar on site, plus lots of other dining choices within walking distance.
